Eva-Maria has driven the idea of cross-university startup support from the beginning as managing director of the Mittelhessen Research Campus. She has contributed the important perspective of the alliance since the concept phase and is currently watching StartMiUp grow from her parental leave.

Her advice to founders is: "Don't put yourself under pressure to have a solution ready for every problem immediately. Take it one step at a time and take advantage of the many support services that are available for every stage in the startup process - including through StartMiUp."
